I put my milkweed thistle seeds through my coffee grinder, twice to powder down those husks. I blend it in with my morning oat bran and into my veggie soup. I read digestion offers better absorption of benefits rather than water infusion

I like the milk thistle tea, the taste is subtle but can be mixed well with another tea for flavor. Not sure about the health benefits yet as I’ve only been drinking a short time
I bought Nilk Thistle, and noticed my first brew was a little on the blonde side, of water. However, I took a good look an noticed the tea came whole bean/seed. Which was exciting to learn. However, I believe in additional step might be required here. So I crushed my seeds in a coffee blender than toss the crushed Milk thistle into my tea kettle. N mix it with Rashberry leaf. To die for! It makes such a great tea. I love it! I reap the benefits of this tea. Really worth purchasing whole, you just have to grind it. Hope this was helpful.
I got this to steep with dandelion tea for liver health. Tastes great together.
This tea is light but very tasty. I really like it. I do also mix it in with other teas and it's really nice

I think because of these being thicker than most tea leaves, it takes longer to steep to even taste the milk thistle. Even then, it's very mild. However, milk thistle is very good so I'm drinking for the benefits.
