Gingerbread is a highly underrated holiday treat in my opinion! The spiced and sweet flavors go perfectly in this matcha latte and this recipe only takes a few steps to make a perfect drink!
Gingerbread cookies are highly underrated in my opinion! I wanted to give them a chance in the spotlight combined with the delicious flavors of a matcha latte for a spiced and sweet drink!

Ingredients
- 3 teaspoons Full Leaf Tea Company Organic Premium Matcha
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 12 ounces oat milk
- 1/4 cup white chocolate (optional)
- Christmas sprinkles (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Directions
- Combine the matcha, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a bowl. Pour over 4 ounces of nearly boiling water and whisk vigorously.
- Melt the white chocolate for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave and drizzle around the rims of your cups. Pour out some sprinkles in a flat layer on a plate and dip the white chocolate-covered rims into the sprinkles. Allow to set.
- Heat the milk and froth if desired.
- Split the matcha mixture between the two cups and top with the hot milk. Add whipped cream and additional sprinkles. Enjoy!
