These decadent cookies are filled with chocolate and a light, roasted lavender flavor!
These decadent cookies are packed with dark chocolate and delicious, roasted lavender.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup salted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Full Leaf Tea Co. Organic Herbal Earl
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup AP flour
- 3/4 cup chocolate chunks (dark or semi-sweet)
Directions
- Beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the egg and beat until smooth.
- Add the tea leaves, corn starch, and baking powder and beat one more time until well combined.
- Add the flour and mix together using a spatula until fully combined.
- Mix in the chocolate chunks and form into a log wrapped in foil, parchment paper, or plastic wrap.
- Put in the freezer for 1 hour or fridge for 3 hours. This dough can be refrigerated for up to 2 days if making ahead of time.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Get the cookie dough log out and cut into 1/2 inch thick round. You can roll them in your hands a bit to make them more circular if needed.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly cracked.
- Enjoy warm out of the oven or cooled down!
